Whether it’s “Real Dreadlocks” or “Long-lasting Afro Perms,” we bring your vision to life. We also welcome those with hair types turned away by other shops, or those only seeking maintenance for regrowth (repair).

Has your natural hair grown out after a few months, or have the tips become thin? At LOOP, Master Stylist Minowa—who has seen dreadlocks from all over the world—uses a single needle to precisely lock the regrowth and restore your hair to perfection.
Our unique needle technique integrates and regenerates your hair beautifully and strongly with minimal burden. We even handle severe damage or dreads on the verge of breaking. Before you give up and think “I have to cut them,” please consult with us first.

It’s your own hair, so no need to be tense. This style blends in slowly and naturally over time.
A very popular style at LOOP. In other shops, it’s called Natural Dreads or Straight Dreads. We backcomb straight hair without making it an Afro and lock it using a crochet hook. This style is perfect for those who like Hippie or Rock-style dreads, and is highly recommended for fans of Heavy Rock, Hardcore, Techno, or Trance music.
Process time: Approx. 4 hours to a full day. Regular maintenance allows you to keep this style for a long time.

Make your dream style more accessible. There’s a way to keep it going without changing your current lifestyle.
These are dreadlocks created by locking hair after applying a tight Afro perm. It features a truly authentic texture, much like Bob Marley.
Reference process time: Approx. a full day. Root retouching is possible; ideally once every 2 months to half a year. Regular maintenance allows for long-term wear. You can wash your hair, but ideally only the roots once every 1 to 4 weeks.

Actually, the styling is free. It’s an Afro you can enjoy casually in your daily life.
There are several ways to apply an Afro perm. You can use an Afro comb after drying to create a round style, twist it with your fingertips for a short-dread look, or use your fingers and a dryer for a “Kaminari-sama” explosive style.
Reference process time: Approx. 4 to 6 hours. Ideally, re-perm once every 3 months to half a year. You can wash your hair normally as usual.

Express yourself even more. These are spiral curls that give shape to your vision.
This is a style created by wrapping your hair around ultra-fine rods (needles). Depending on the thickness of the hair sections and the way we wrap it, the expression changes completely—from a “Hard Spiral” that looks like dreads to a “Soft Spiral” that feels natural.
Process time: Approx. 4 to 6 hours. Maintenance: Once every 3 to 6 months. It’s easy to handle and easy to wash.

Enjoy the unraveling. Even the change in texture is part of this style’s charm.
This is a specialized perm where hair is twisted tightly and then heat-set. You can enjoy the initial “tight, cord-like look,” and later, you can unravel it to create a “Big Volume Afro” style. One perm gives you two different looks.
Process time: Approx. 3 to 5 hours. Maintenance: Once every 3 to 4 months. Washing is possible, but the more you wash, the faster it unravels into an Afro.
